"30 Years on"
at Wallford Mill craft centre,
Wimborne,
Dorset.
                                         Postponed
Over thirty years ago when the Walford Mill was set up as a permanent home for the Dorset Craft guild, David, Benjamin & Simon Eeles were all full members of the Guild and David Eeles was then the Chairman. David was one of a group of people who were instrumental in the formation of the Guild and the setting up of the Mill as you see it today. So we are pleased to be able to bring this exhibition of new work by the Eeles family of potters back to the Mill thirty years later.
Weather permitting Simon Eeles will be demonstrating the Raku firing process the days he is stewarding the exhibition. The demonstrations will take place at 12am & 3pm so come along and experience the excitement of a red hot Raku pot lifted from the kiln at temperatures of over one thousand degrees centigrade and placed onto sawdust that instantaneously combusts into an inferno of flames.
